Stop everything you are doing and go make this pork! The depth of flavor in this dish is incredible – from the juicy pork to the toasted bread to the gooey egg to the crisp watercress. Although a bit time consuming to make, the meal was completely worth it and an absolute hit at the entire dinner table. Also, did I mention the versatility of this pork? It could easily pass for a meal at any time of the day – breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner – you name it!
If you’re still searching for recipe ideas for your 4th of July get together, I’ve got you covered! I recently made this Italian pasta salad for a picnic with friends before a Hollywood Bowl concert and not a noodle was left in sight. The dish is simple, yet packed with flavor and texture. I will be making this again for my parent’s 4th of July party – per my mother’s request!
Gluten-free, vegetarian, low cal, vegan…this dish is none of those things. Whoops! But I swear to you it’s ridiculously delicious. The casserole is hearty (as you can see), so a small piece will satisfy your hunger. Whip this up for your friends and family over the weekend and maybe serve it with a fruit platter or something. It’s all about balance, right? :-) continue reading ››

As much as I love Thai food, I rarely cook the cuisine – primarily because it can often be time consuming. This soup was far from that and came together in less than an hour. Full of flavor with the perfect amount of kick. There was not a drop left in our bowls after eating the soup for dinner the other night.
Wow, it’s been a minute since I’ve posted! With work getting busier by the minute, I haven’t had as much time to document all of my recipes, but I am trying to get back on track. I made this jalapeño popper dip over Christmas break and it was to.die.for. It was an absolute hit with friends and family and you can bet I will be making it again soon!
One of my favorite gifts I received for my birthday the other week was The L.A. Cookbook, which includes delicious recipes from some of LA’s best restaurants. My husband and I have yet to make the trek to Union Pasadena, but now that we have this cookbook, we can make their incredible pasta with pork ragu whenever we want. The original recipe calls for tagliatelle, but we used pappardelle since that was what we had!
One of our current wedding gift obsessions is the Breville Duo Panini Press. That thing can do it all! We made these ridiculously delicious and easy paninis the other day and can’t wait to make some Cuban sandwiches next time. :-)
On the hunt for the perfect addition to your Taco Tuesday, football Sunday or get together with friends? Look no further! This hatch chile sausage queso is silky smooth and delicious. I guarantee it will be gobbled down in no time and leave you wanting more.
Hello everyone! It’s been a minute since I last posted – I was busy planning a wedding and tying the knot! Although I was still cooking during my time away, I was never able to find the time to stage and photograph all of the food I was making! I’m hoping to be back on track now and blogging once every week or every other week. :-)
