This pasta is basically fall on a plate and I am here.for.it. The sweetness of the butternut squash paired with the nuttiness of the brown butter fried sage and toasted hazelnuts make for a pretty dreamy combo. This dish would be perfect for Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving or really any gathering. You can’t go wrong!

Not sure what to do with that leftover cranberry sauce? I highly recommend making these sweet and savory crostini. Even if you don’t have leftover cranberry sauce, you can make these as an appetizer then serve any of the leftover cranberry sauce as a side dish. Done and done! These crostini would be the perfect appetizer for Thanksgiving or any upcoming holiday gathering. They’re somewhat a labor of love because of the homemade candied orange zest, but trust me – it’s worth it. As an alternative, you could also buy store-bought candied orange zest and call it a day.

I’m at a loss for words trying to describe this apple cider bread. It was INCREDIBLE. My husband and I finished it off in two days between the two of us and I’m honestly considering baking another loaf. The bread is delicious at any time of the day, but I’d recommend eating it for breakfast with a hot cup of coffee or warming it up and slathering with a little butter for dessert.

Soup season is officially here and I’ve decided I’m ok with it, as long as it’s soup like this chicken and white bean southwestern soup that I can garnish with ALL the toppings – cheese, sour cream, avocado, you name it. I’m sure you’ll be seeing more soup (and chili!) on here now that it’s finally starting to cool down in LA. But now that I say that, I’m sure it’ll be 90 degrees one day next week…

Considering it’s officially fall, I figured it was time to jump on the bandwagon and start posting some fall-inspired recipes. I was itching to make something with apple cider and landed on this cocktail. Although I’m not typically a bourbon fan, I’ve got to say, this drink was fabulous. And it came together SO quickly. Perfect for a get together or holiday!

While visiting my parents over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, my mom introduced me to Emeril Lagasse’s recipe for roasted pork tenderloin with an apple cider glaze and braised cabbage. OH.MY. I don’t even have words because this was beyond delicious. For the pork, I used my favorite United Harvest meat, which is free of hormones, feed additives, and unnecessary antibiotics, AKA incredibly flavorful and juicy. If you want to have the same delicious experience, you can purchase the pork here, using discount code SWEET for 5% off your order. Highly recommend!

Stumped on side dishes for Thanksgiving? I’ve got you covered! This fall salad is one of my all-time favorites. It has everything you need and more – it’s savory and sweet, with ALL the delicious goodies. My family brings this salad to Thanksgiving every year and it’s always a crowd pleaser. The dressing is really the pièce de résistance in this recipe!

I love indulging in a big bowl of classic mac and cheese. I’m even a sucker for Kraft blue box macaroni. This spaghetti squash mac and cheese is a healthier alternative (but equally delicious) and trust me, you won’t miss the pasta!
