Over the past year, Asian cuisine has become one of my favorites. I can’t get enough of potstickers, dumplings, noodle dishes – you name it. Because of this newfound love, I was inspired to make homemade potstickers. These pork potstickers were incredibly delicious and relatively simple to make. The only somewhat difficult part was crimping the potstickers – primarily because I’m a perfectionist!
Life got a bit crazy (busy with work, got engaged[!], etc.), which is why I’ve been absent from blogging, but I was able to get back in the kitchen to make this delicious chicken fried rice. The rice is full of flavor and the perfect meal to whip up during a hectic week.
Considering the deliciousness and simplicity of this beef and broccoli recipe, there’s really no reason to spend the money on take out. This is the perfect dinner to whip up during a stressful week.
Ever since my co-worker introduced me to chicken pad thai a few years ago, I’ve been hooked. There’s a restaurant across the street from our office that has some of the best pad thai I’ve ever tasted. I’d never made the dish before, so I decided to give it a shot. This recipe came pretty close to our local spot, and it was delicious!
I spent last weekend at home with my mom, grandma and boyfriend–we relaxed, watched movies, and ate gobs of food. While at home, my mom and I made this delicious, spicy soba noodle salad. The recipe made enough for a week of leftovers, but I wasn’t complaining about that!
Happy hump day! Although it doesn’t feel like summer here in LA (hooray for June gloom), I’m still embracing seasonal ingredients, dishes and drinks.
After years of making this Chinese chicken pasta, I never thought I’d find a recipe that could compare. But I’ve got to say, this recipe definitely poses some tough competition–and it’s much healthier!
Thank you everyone for your kind words last week. I can’t express how much that meant. Though I’m sure it’ll be tough for a while, my family is doing much better.
It’s finally starting to warm up in LA again, so I decided to make my mom’s Chinese chicken pasta salad. Growing up, I remember my family and I eating this cold pasta by our pool on warm summer days. But since I’m limited to eating the pasta at my work desk now, I’ll just have to pretend that I’m on a comfortable pool chair, clad in my bikini, soaking up the sun. A girl can dream, right?
