Okay, I know it’s only March, but I was really craving a margarita the other day and these hit the spot and got me so excited for summer. This margarita is dangerously delicious and beyond refreshing with all of the fresh citrus – freshly squeezed orange juice, lime juice and lemon juice. There’s a lot of juicing involved with this recipe (especially if you’re making more than two cocktails), but it is SO worth it!

I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been on a cocktail kick lately (I’m typically more of a wine gal). It’s most likely because it’s been sweltering hot and there’s nothing a refreshing cocktail can’t fix. This margarita definitely hit the spot the other night and was the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. These would be a great addition to your Taco Tuesday!

Though this isn’t a ground breaking recipe, it’d consider it a worthy staple. I never get around to making homemade margaritas, primarily because I always find it much easier to buy margarita mix for large parties.
However, my apartment was overflowing with limes, so I thought it the perfect opportunity to whip up a margarita (instead of using the limes to bake something fattening, which I would normally do).
For the non-drinkers out there, I would still enjoy this drink without the tequila, as it was sweet and refreshing. I added a bit of lime zest to give the drink an extra burst of flavor.
