doctor’s orders. [caramelized onion, jarlsberg & arugula burger]

A burger a day keeps the doctor away, right? As I’m sure I’ve already expressed, I’m a sucker for a smashburger, but I decided to switch it up a bit. This gourmet burger of sorts is stacked with arugula, caramelized onions, jarlsberg cheese, homemade mustard aioli and United Harvest organic grass-fed, grass-finished ground beef. The beef is so juicy and flavorful and really takes this burger to the next level. These were gobbled up in no time!

best I ever had. [smashburger w. stone ground mustard aioli]

I’m SO excited to share my smashburger recipe using none other than United Harvest meat. Their ground beef is honestly some of the best I’ve ever tasted, made from a unique blend of angus beef and waygu fat, giving the meat an insanely delicious and deep flavor. Better yet, their meat is free of hormones, feed additives, and unnecessary antibiotics. The meat is delicious and mouth watering on its own, but pairs perfectly with my homemade stone ground mustard aioli and classic burger toppings.

United Harvest is running a promo right now for 2lbs of FREE ground beef with orders of $99 or more, so you can give it a try too! Just use code TWOFREE via this link. Go, go, go!

fire up the griddle. [classic smash burger]

To celebrate National Burger Day yesterday AKA my favorite day of the year, I decided to try my hand at the classic smash burger. Gathering inspiration from the delicious cheeseburger at Burgers Never Say Die in Los Angeles, this burger is classic and simple yet packed with flavor. The sharpness of the diced raw onion pairs perfectly with the ketchup, yellow mustard and vinegary pickles. If you are able to locate Martin’s Potato Rolls sandwich rolls, they really take this burger (and any burger/sandwich, really) over the top!
