Now that awards season has wrapped, work has finally slowed down a bit and I’ve been able to get back in the kitchen to prepare some blog-worthy meals! This fried chicken sandwich was out.of.this.world delicious. Although time consuming to make (you will want to marinate the chicken up to 24 hours), I promise it will be worth it in the end!
Fried.Chicken.Waffle.Sandwich. Are you in? I know I’m all in, especially considering bacon and ranch are involved. ;-)
Anyone who has tried Free Range LA‘s famous fried chicken sandwich knows how delicious it tastes. I’ve wanted to recreate the sandwich for a while, so I decided to give it a shot–and I gotta say, my version tasted pretty dang similar!
So, there’s a chance I’m going to marry this fried chicken sandwich. It is the epitome of perfection, with its juicy and crispy chicken, spicy mayo, crunchy slaw and toasty, buttered bun. I made these sandwiches the other night for my boyfriend and good friend, and they both gave the sandwich two thumbs up. Luckily, there were leftovers, so I’ll be enjoying this for lunch today. :-)
