Hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing holiday with family and friends. I hate to keep this so short, but I’m hopping on a plane to San Francisco for New Year’s. So, with that said, have a fantastic New Year and I’ll see you in 2013! Cheers.
Recipe:
1 cup sugar
1 cup Jif peanut butter, creamy
1 cup light Karo syrup
6 cups Rice Krispies
6 oz. butterscotch chips
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Cook sugar, peanut butter and Karo syrup in a saucepan over medium heat until smooth and mixture starts to bubble. Add Rice Krispies and mix together. Remove from heat and press Rice Krispies mixture into a 9″ x 13″ greased pan.
In a small glass bowl, melt butterscotch and semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth (can use a double broiler instead). Spread mixture evenly over Rice Krispies. Let scotcheroos sit for a few hours, so chocolate topping hardens.
